Amaar is a consultant Solicitor at Vintage, providing comprehensive legal advice and solutions to our clients in-house, ensuring that our intimate knowledge of our clients’ financial needs and circumstances is fully reflected in the legal services he offers. Amaar’s practice is focused on Private Client services including estate planning and inheritance tax mitigation solutions; advising on and setting up wills, trusts and powers of attorney.

Working with our external law firm, he also facilitates our estate management service at a difficult time for our clients’ families, including with inheritance tax returns to HMRC, applications to the Courts for the Grant of Probate, and to the Land Registry for giving effect to inheritance and trust arrangements.

Amaar also assists our clients’ businesses with commercial contracts and advice on complex corporate and tax transactions.

Over the past 15 years, Amaar has helped innumerable start-ups and established family businesses alike to scale up to their full potential and provided holistic estate planning advice that takes accounts of personal and business finances. Initially specialising in project finance and international commercial law, Amaar has also served as a judicial assistant in a constitutional court and worked for seven years as a UK civil servant. This included acting as an Adjudicator for disputes brought to the Housing Ombudsman and as the lead investigator for UK tariffs under the WTO system. Amaar most recently served as a policy and strategy adviser to the British Government on international trade for three years.

He also holds a Master of Laws degree (LLM) and a professional qualification with the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. He has lived and worked in five countries and speaks seven languages.
